Announcing Frofessionals as the Recipient of EGBI’s Austin Creative Alliance Elevate Grant and 3 Upcoming Events

Frofessionals.com, the nonprofit that promotes and celebrates black owned businesses, and converts advertising dollars into community based initiatives, also known for their annual celebration of the Crown Act Festival since it’s enactment in Texas in 2023, are the grateful recipients of EGBI’s Austin Creative Alliance Elevate Grant.  The funds will be used to produce the 3rd Annual Crown Act Festival, and 2 live stage plays productions/films.

The faith-based social justice play/film, “Not Guilty: Where the Crucifixion & Criminal Justice Cross,” is a play that depicts the Crucifixion of Christ and a parallel story of a single father who finds himself in the fight of his life to save his son from the firm grip of the criminal justice system.  Get your tickets now for April 11th and 13th at Huston-Tillotson University. As well, the film/live stage play production “The Depressed Therapist; When Caregivers Crash,” a Dramatic Rom/Com in honor of Mother’s Day, that hilariously depicts the need for mental health treatment in urban communities for caregivers and health care professionals.
