3rd Annual Crown Act Festival: Celebrating Hair-itage, Health & Wealth (Sept. 14, 2025 12-6pm)
Asian American Resource Center 8401 Cameron Rd, AustinFestival celebrating the passing of the Crown Act in Texas in 2023 which made it illegal to discriminate against textured hair associated with people of color in school, places of employment or sports. We celebrate with an explosion of cultural music and dance performances, a flamboyant natural hair show, soul food, wealth building workshops and we support black owned business vendors.
